The AGENS AI Barometer is a quarterly report that analyses how artificial intelligence is evolving and being applied in business in Portugal. This first report is based on data gathered between January and August 2025, bringing together information from official European sources, studies by international consultancies, practical cases from Portuguese companies and comparisons with other European markets.
The aim is to give Portuguese business leaders a well-grounded, practical view of the opportunities AI offers, always with the conviction that technology should amplify human potential, not replace it. We believe Portugal is in a unique position to lead a more human and sustainable approach to artificial intelligence in business.
